This is a quote from High Warden Skegg, stating how wars work in this RP. If you are thinking of declaring war, read this first.
Okay, so here is how everything will go. We, as leaders, rules our own nations spread all through our world of Terraia. In our world war shall erupt, alliances will be created, rivalries will be started, and resolutions to conflict can be made.
Each leader will need to come up with these things for their nation: Nation name, their leadership title, continent where your nation is, national language, national religion, national currency, national anthem, type of government, flag design, nation back story, knowledge of your nation's resources and geography, what states/territories reside in your nation (name, location, history, etc.), your branches of government, and political viewpoint. It may seem like a lot, but trust me, ruling a nation is never easy.
This is how war will work. War can be resolved with a few options.
1. A game of risk on our world map
2. Airsoft match
3. Nerf match
4. COD/Halo match
5. Any competitive war-like activity
After war is resolved and there is a victor, the victor may choose to continue attacks on the defending nation or sign a peace treaty with that nation. Peace treaties will be made on web documents or on actual paper written with ink.
Nations can trade with one another. Trade is more of a mutual agreement on supplies, capital, or research. For trading to work we need a financial income system for leaders to be able to make money. I am still working out the kinks in this system known as the Skegg Economic System (SES), but so far it works like this: New nations will start with 800,000,000,000 in their own currency. The San Armastine Centry is the monetary unit for all currencies, like how the US Dollar is on Earth. Each week, every country shall be given a certain amount of money in their own currency. Provincial income is 1,000,000 money per province, Trade income is 2,000,000 money per nation you trade with, Factory Income comes from the number of factories within your nation. Factories cost 1,100,000 money to buy, will give you 550,000 money for each factory owned, and each factory will provide the province of your choice with 2x the provincial income. When all these doubled provincial incomes are added together it is called the post-provincial income. If this province is captured, so is the factory (you can’t move a factory), Expense comes in three ways: upkeep, purchase cost, and money given to a friendly nation. Purchase Cost: 20,400,000 money for armies, 25,500,000 for navies, 25,800,000 for air force, 11,150,000 for national guard, 13,250,000 for coast/border guard, 30,550,000 for special troops, factories for 1,100,000, The factory must be built in a specific province of your choice. Upkeep is 735,000 for armies, 740,000 for navies, 790,000 for air force, 690,000 for national guard, 700,000 for coast/border guard, and 850,000 for special troops. Money given or sent must be recorded by you on a document or piece of paper. At the end of the week you must include total income, total expense, and profit and record them on the same document of piece of paper. All money transactions should be recorded on this paper.
Terraia consists of many different elements together. It contains medieval, sci fi, fantasy, modern day, dieselpunk, steampunk, atompunk, cyberpunk, whatever! It's everything and more! If more and more people start to join the Coalition we can easily create new worlds or expand upon them. We could conquer new planets, new landmasses could arise from Terraia, magic could exist and new realms could open up. The limit of creativity is nonexistent!
Once the World Map is finished, we will hold a World Census. The World Census will tell us who all is apart of the Coalition, it'll show us what all nations in our world are like and who leads them, and it'll overall inform everyone about who inhabits our world. The Census will require all the information you needed to know about your nation from the beginning.
As time progresses I will add more info to this post if people have more questions.
